Production

Instrumental Work
My approach to production grows from my musicianship. I understand how instruments speak, interact, and drive a track forward. I perform on and record bass, drums, and guitar regularly, and shape synth parts with the same attention to tone and movement. When a song calls for added color, I can layer percussion or electronic texture to expand its voice. Recording can happen in-house, remotely, or on location throughout Los Angeles.
Mastering
Mastering is the final unifying gesture. It is the stage where the mix is clarified and readied as a complete whole. This step ensures the song translates across systems and maintains the character that defines it. For full projects, mastering also establishes a sense of continuity so the songs feel related in tone and presence without losing their individuality. The work involves shaping balance, addressing tonal relationships, and preparing the music for its final delivery format. The aim is not to reshape the mix, but to give it the finish and stability it needs to sit comfortably among other well-crafted masters while retaining a clear sense of identity.
Audio Engineering
Every sound that leaves this space carries intention. The studio’s signal path was built piece by piece to serve the character of each source. Everything from transparent and true, to bold and colorful. Sometimes that means openness and space, other times it means grit, weight, or something slightly bent. Clean or dirty, modern or vintage, the tools are selected to serve what the music asks for. Clients are part of that conversation. If you’ve got a vision, we’ll chase it together; if you’d rather hand it off, I’ll make sure what comes back through the monitors feels alive. The signal chain is deliberate, and it bears the mark of years of decisions about tone, feel, and trust in the process.
Arrangement
Arrangement connects structure and emotion. I offer scoring, transcription, and composition for artists shaping new material or expanding existing work. Writing can include strings, horns, reharmonization, or sectional development. We’ll build transitions that make the music breathe, focusing on clarity, pacing, and the subtle decisions that help a song fully arrive.
Mixing
Mixing is where a song becomes a unified listening experience. I work in a hybrid analog and digital environment to shape tone, balance, and depth so the track feels clear and connected. The aim is cohesion without losing the character that gives the recording its identity. I mix both projects I have produced, and work that arrives fully recorded. Whether the material is sparse or dense, live or programmed, the goal is a mix that feels grounded and reflects the intent of the music. Every project is finished to a release-ready standard with clarity guiding the process.
